Superstar K-pop group alert! IVE (아이브) is a 6-member, brand new girl group under Starship Entertainment (Monsta X, Cosmic Girls).
The group currently consists of Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo.
If you haven't heard of them, you should. Their debut on December 1st, 2021 with the single album ‘Eleven’ was a big hit.

The group's debuted with a live showcase held on the release day of the album.
The showcase has since been broadcast on the group's official channel.
These ladies are super talented, their moves are smooth and like most Korean groups, they can dance!
For their first single, the tunes and lyrics are very catchy. With the beautiful MV and visuals that come along with it, the song secured every element to succeed.
Judging from our "expertise" in K-pop bands IVE may arguably be the most beautiful K-pop girls group ever! Besides their talents and techniques, each individual has their own charisma, while they look stunning together.
We love them so much already.
On November 15, a video series called "Show What I Have" was started on the group's official YouTube channel, where each member introduced themselves, starting with Yujin and then followed by Rei, Leeseo, Liz, Gaeul, and Wonyoung each day. Let us give you the summarized introduction.
IVE Members Profile
Yujin
The first member of IVE was former IZ*ONE star Yujin!
Prior to joining IVE, Yujin has been in the industry starring in music videos, such as being a back-up dancer for Jeong Sewoon‘s “BABY, IT’S U,”. She also appeared alongside ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo is a commercial for Clearteen.
Her big breakthrough was in the show, Mnet‘s Produce 48 series, as a contestant
With her talent, personality, she ranked 5th overall, which led to her official appearance with IZ*ONE.
With her relatively "deep" experience in K-pop, she is a big asset and anchor to the group. Rightfully, she takes up the leadership position.
Gaeul
Born on September 24, 2002, Gaeul is the group’s oldest member. She was the designated rapper of the group.
She was cast by JYP Entertainment before moving to Starship Entertainment.
At the height of 165cm, not only is she a rapper, she gets to follow her passion and skills for dancing, to be a multi-talent performer at IVE. She should no doubt be one to watch in the group.
Wonyoung
Born in August 2004, she was scouted on the streets by Starship Entertainment after she attended her sister’s middle school graduation ceremony.
One year later, along with Yujin, she also joined the lineup for Produce 48.
Despite not having lengthy, proper training on stage, her sharp presence during the show captured a lot of attention. Naturally, she moved on to become a member of IZ*ONE, as the top performer.
After debuting with the group, she continued to shine and made her way to the runway for a Japanese fashion show.
Wonyoung reached her height in popularity when she was selected as the MC for Music Bank, sharing the stage with ENHYPEN‘s Sunghoon.
She shares her skills, creating music in IVE as a vocalist.
Liz
Liz is an eye-catching material for stardom both on and off stage.
With her long blond hair and straight-cut bangs, many have been comparing her to STAYC’s Yoon.
She is the most athletic among the six lades while holding importance in the group's dance sequences. Interesting facts of hers include her being a choir member since she was a child. She is also known to be very friendly and lovely. We can't wait to find out more about personality.
Rei
Rei was originally born and raised in Nagoya, Japan.
After much preparation, she passed an audition for the famous School of Performing Arts (SOPA) in Seoul and began her journey to Korea.
As a genuine soul, many of her classmates and friends shared how nice and humble she is to the media. We can certainly get a sense of it with her beautiful smile.
Standing at 169cm, she handles the roles of a rapper and vocalist.
Leeseo
Leeseo was born in 2007. The baby in the IVE group certainly is no baby in front of cameras as she was previously a child model under SM Entertainment.
Honing the level of beauty and maturity that is superior to most of her same-aged peers, one can believe that she was born to have a bright future in showbiz.
As expected, Leeseo has already caught the attention of IVE fans for her charms and stunning looks as a maknae. Vocalist will be her main role.
